Sometimes finding the ideal home on a tight budget can be a challenge, especially when it comes to condos. However, with teamwork and perseverance, it is possible to overcome any obstacle, as was the case with this closing.

Working with a local real estate advisor, we were able to find several options for some clients who were looking for something nice in a condo on a limited budget. After looking at three or four properties, they finally settled on one that they loved. The interesting thing about this transaction was that it was our first time working with a local colleague, and although there was some uncertainty, everything went very well.

As is often the case with closings, there were some hiccups. The buyer invested in dollars, but there were two mortgages in colones, which complicated the process due to exchange rate conversions. However, with effort and patience, we were able to overcome this difficulty.

The most valuable aspect of this closing is that, in addition to closing the sale, we established a new working relationship with a colleague that could open up new opportunities in the future. In summary, it was a successful transaction with very satisfied clients, an elderly Costa Rican and Canadian couple.
