Sometimes the best opportunities come from unexpected connections. Not only did this lease close quickly, but it also revealed a job match that provided even more confidence in the transaction.

This closing was the result of a referral. I advertised the property on one of our property management chats and shortly thereafter a colleague contacted me to say that a friend of hers was looking for a home. The client was very interested in the property, so I took her to see it and she immediately decided she wanted it.

We had to negotiate a bit on the rent, but the owner agreed because of the excellent references the tenant had. In a few days we signed the contract. The most curious thing was that when we signed the contract, we realized that the tenant and the owner worked for the same company. This unexpected detail gave both parties even more peace of mind.

In the end, everything went perfectly and the tenant is now settled in, making this closing another example of how connections can facilitate a successful process.
