Viewpoint Orosí
Located just 3 km south of the Church of Paraíso, is this beautiful viewpoint. It has ranches, tables, drinking water, play areas for children and where to cook. And most importantly: a stunning view of our beloved Costa Rica! From this height you can enjoy seeing the Rio Grande and also the Orosí Valley.

Viewpoint of Ujarrás
Like the previously mentioned viewpoint: the Ujarrás Viewpoint has picnic facilities, tables, drinking water and more. This is located 2 km east of the Church of Paraíso.
From this beautiful view you can admire practically all of Ujarrás, Cachí, and its surroundings.

Viewpoint Irazú Volcano
Cartago is home to the highest volcano in Costa Rica, which has five craters and a lagoon. This is located a little more than 30 km from the center of this province. If you want to spend the day with your family there, we recommend that you bring warm clothes, since temperatures as low as 5 ° C are recorded in this area! In this park you can have picnic tables, or if you like you can eat at the restaurant there. It is a beautiful part of Costa Rica, and if you haven’t been, we recommend you go!

Cachí Dam Viewpoint
In 2016, the Cachí Dam celebrated 50 years of generating clean energy for Costa Rica. If you are one of those people who would like to admire the structure that manages to provide for our country in a sustainable way, you can visit the Mirador de La Represa de Cachí. It is definitely a work of art of human work and work of nature. From the bridge that overpasses the Dam, it is possible to admire the Reventazón River and the Ujarrás Valley. As this is not a park, it does not have eating facilities, but you can still enjoy seeing this architectural structure at work!

Viewpoint Cinco Pinos
This viewpoint is located just a few minutes from downtown Cartago. Its most frequent visitors are people in search of physical activity, since the route and the landscape lend themselves to practicing this cycling or hiking. For the route, remember to ask nearby locals for information on the route to be safe. The sunsets can be seen beautiful from this viewpoint, and you can go in a group or in pairs. There are no facilities to spend the day, but it is a good place to spend a little while and watch the sunset.

Eolian Viewpoint Los Santos
From this privileged high position you can admire the entire Los Santos Valley and the wind farms there. It is recommended that you bring clothing for cold windy weather and as there are no tables or facilities, you can bring a blanket to lie there on the grass and have a picnic. The view of this truly marvelous viewpoint and being able to admire the beauty of the wind turbines together with the natural landscape, is a true act of teamwork between humans and the planet.
