Visit a Guanacaste farm: A farm in this province is full of many different activities that you are not used to in the city. In a farm you can have fun meeting and feeding animals such as pigs, horses, ducks, goats, cows, bulls, among others. You can also go on horseback rides and get to know the extensions of the farm, including herding cattle on horseback. One activity that attracts a lot of attention is milking the cows.   • Las Baulas National Marine Park: Located on the Nicoya Peninsula, includes several beaches that will attract your attention such as Carbon, Ventanas and Langosta, the Morro and Hermoso hills and the San Francisco and Ventanas mangroves.

  • Miravalles Volcano: You can hike on trails, explore sulfur hot springs and boiling mud pools, get into the forest rivers and see a variety of wildlife.

  • Santa Rosa National Park: Here we can find the Casona de Santa Rosa, historically famous. It is known for its fauna, because there is a biological station that monitors animals such as white-tailed deer, white-faced and howler monkeys, sea turtles, reptiles and amphibians.
