Prioritize Health and Safety
NATIVU offers new procedures for health and safety in times of coronavirus. We seek to reduce the risk for clients, agents, suppliers, and our communities. We have adopted the general best practices shown below and specific guidelines available at the Coronavirus Information Center.
General guidelines for real estate during coronavirus
Follow the rules
Read and obey the guidelines of the Government of Costa Rica, your municipality or local government, and the Ministry of Health.
Avoid all non-essential outings
Prefer virtual tours, digital tours, online consultations, and online meetings whenever possible. NATIVU offers real estate LIVE TOURS and other digital options.
Maintain social distance
Keep a radius of 2 meters between you and other people.
Wash, clean and disinfect
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for a duration of at least 20 seconds. If you don’t have access to soap, use antibacterial alcohol-based hand gel. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Don’t touch
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with your unwashed hands. Do not touch unnecessary surfaces.
Protect yourself and protect others
Wear a mask and gloves whenever possible and stay outside your home in homes, offices, or other closed areas. Consider removing shoes or wearing shoe linings if you enter someone else’s home or property. Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze.

Please contact the NATIVU team or your NATIVU real estate advisors if you have any questions regarding our COVID-19 real estate procedures or need additional help from the NATIVU concierge.
In most cases, you should prefer NATIVU live tours, and online consultations before a live visit. Consider the risks involved before agreeing to allow visits or before participating in-person either directly or indirectly in meetings or property visits.
